What is a SantaCon??
A SantaCon is a convention of Santas! They happen all over the world - someone picks a time and a starting place and thus begins the SantaCon Pub Crawl. This year Cody SantaCon is a traditional pub crawl - which means it's FREE to you - no tickets required to participate. See below for "Santa's Program" - a list of all participating venues and their festive SantaCon Specials!
When and where is Cody SantaCon??
The Cody SantaCon Downtown Pub Crawl is Saturday, December 9th. It officially starts at 1pm, but you can jump in anytime after 1pm - it ends when you want it to - or you get cut off. See Santa's LIne-Up for more details on suggested times for each participating venue. And be sure to check out each venue's special and festive SantaCon offering!
Will there be games??
Yes! We will have our traditional Stein Holding contest running all day at the Silver Dollar Bar in downtown Cody! There will also be additional games and activities at different venues - see Santa's Line-Up for more details!
Will there be a costume contest??
Yes! We will award prizes to the best solo costume, and the best group costume! Winners will be announced at The Silver Dollar at 7PM - must be present to win! We accept all festive costumes - not just limited to Santa!
Is there a charity involved??
Yes! We are continuing the tradition of the SantaCon Raffle in which 100% of proceeds go to Downrange Warriors, a Cody based veteran support group. In the past 2 years, you've helped give over $6000 to Downrange Warriors. Prizes include a 3-Night stay in Estes Park, CO, Skis from Sunlight Sports, gear from Wyo Trout Guides, $100 giftcard to Trailhead Restaurant, Custom SantaCon merch, and more! But your tickets today!!
Santa's House
The Silver Dollar Bar is your homebase for all day SantaCon fun! There will be games, music, SantaCon Merch sales, and we'll do our Raffle drawing here at 6PM. We'll also have our costume contest announced here at 7PM - must be present to win both!
